I'm surprised not to see "Parallel Worlds, Parallel Lives" listed here. This is a movie about the late Hugh Everett, developer of the many worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics, by his son, Eels front man Mark Everett. I'm a physicist who normally can't stand physics movies because of the liberties they take, and I loved this movie.

Good documentary on that. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parallel_Worlds,_Parallel_Lives)
I remember watching the episode "Parallel Worlds, Parallel Lives" on NOVA about physicist Hugh Everett III.
I confess I initially watched it because I was interested in Hugh's son, Mark Everett of the band The Eels.
But it ended up being a poignant look at the also-rans in science. The ideas that failed.
