I fed the list to GPT and asked which ones the OP liked:

    - *Urusei Yatsura 2: Beautiful Dreamer (1984)* - Highly recommended, really trippy.

    - *Groundhog Day (1993)* - The classic, loved it.

    - *Run Lola Run (1998)* - Fun with lots of details on rewatches.

    - *The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (2006)* - Highly acclaimed anime adaptation.

    - *Timecrimes (2007)* - Classic, intense, and worth watching.

    - *Triangle (2009)* - Really good with unexpected twists.

    - *Coherence (2013)* - A standout, very good.

    - *The Incident (2014)* - One of his absolute favorites.

    - *Edge of Tomorrow (2014)* - Pretty great.

    - *Blood Punch (2014)* - Pretty good with unique mechanics.

    - *Happy Death Day (2017)* - Very good.

    - *The Endless (2017)* - The best of the best, though micro-budget.

    - *Palm Springs (2020)* - Highly recommended.

    - *Boss Level (2020)* - Action-driven, but worth checking out.

    - *Beyond the Infinite Two Minutes (2020)* - Very good.

    - *Maanaadu (2021)* - An excellent Bollywood time loop movie.

Timecrimes ... a spanish movie, its superb ... they executed the time loop concept really well.

If you want a non-serious fun movie "Summer Time Machine blues", a japanese movie is also a pretty good watch

If you liked Primer, the film "Timecrimes" does an excellent job at the physical consistency of time travel.

Timecrimes (Los Cronicriménes) — a mind bending Spanish movie with time travel and paradoxes

AI (Artificial Intelligence) — about a little android boy who develops feelings and emotions

    Gattaca

Summer Time Machine Blues (Japanese) — a hilarious movie with time travel (and all its paradoxes)

    Moon

    Europa Report

[I've avoided mentioning the more recent mainstream movies.]

    Take my vote for Timecrimes.

Another little movie that I liked very much is "Frequently Asked Question About Time Travels", and the two "Hot Tub Time Machine". OK, the second was really weak, but the leads are hilariously funny...

Last one, I promise, "Time Lapse".

Agreed. One of the only times I contributed to the board was on a thread discussing why time travel in Timecrimes[1] (superb movie!) was not consistent. Without spoiling it, we ended up discussing all sorts of alternate theories in an attempt to have it make sense.

Another cool thing is visiting the boards of interesting movies or shows that are still far out from release. You usually find details about estimated release date based on current progress and photos from production.

On a tangential note, Timecrimes (Spanish) is another good movie I enjoyed watching - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Los_Cronocr%C3%ADmenes

I'm one of those few people who completely hated Primer. I found it to be masquerading poor narrative as intellectual mystery. It's possible to present an intricate, complex logic puzzle as story without being totally incoherent, but Primer doesn't even bother.

For a movie that matches Primer in everything it does right, but none of what it does wrong, check out Timecrimes (Los Cronocrimenes). It is far superior.

The Prestige (competing magicians inventing new tricks, cameo by Nikola Tesla):

Iron Man (fun movie where the main character is hacker/inventor):

There Will Be Blood (not a hacker movie per se, but still kind of startup-relevant, it's about creation of the oil empire from scratch):

Odyssey 5 (TV series about a group of astronauts sent back in time to prevent destruction of Earth, AI plays a significant role):

    Few Japanese cyberpunk animated classics:
